Ryan's Section

I am Ryan Hendricks I am 16 years old and a junior at Moline High School. I have 4 members in my family. Me , my dad Brad, my mom sheila and my brother Adam who is 21 and attends Drake University. In my free time like to play sports. I am on the Football and baseball teams at Moline. Also I enjoy watching my favorite teams play. I like the Cubs the Bears and Illinois and harldy ever miss a game. My favorite vacation spot is Dauphin Island, Alambama . Also in my free time I like to spend a lot of time with my friends. I have about 25 to 30 close friends. After High School I plan to attend Drake University and study business. Im usually pretty relaxed but also I am very competitve. Well thats me in a nutshell .

Derek Dye?

I'm Derek Dye, I am 16 years old. I have 4 members in my family. They are all very important to me. My older brother, Jared (20) has a played a key role in my growing up. Jared has taught me so many things about life. My Dad has always been there for me. And my Mom is well... she's my mom. She is such a great parent. I play 3 sports (Football, Baseball, and Basketball) my favorite is football. I play running back and cornerback. I love sports, almost everything in my life revolves around it, whether i'm outside playing one or inside watching a game. Sports are always on my mind. It makes for quite a distraction during class. My dream college is the University of North Carolina. I have loved North Carolina for 9 years now. I rarely miss a basketball game when they are on TV. But, I plan to go to Illinois State University or Elmhurst College. I enjoy writing poems or raps, i like studying social studies, and my favorite vacation spot is Door County, Wisconsin. But, the thing that keeps me going to the most is my friends. I have probably the closest knit group of friends this high school has ever seen. We roll about 25 to 30 deep. We do about everything together. I met my 3 best friends at Garfield Elementary School (Luke Wood, Sam Welvaert, And Justin Blondell). We all live on the same street. I can run to any of their houses and not break a sweat. And, our friendship has withstood the test of time, we are all still as close as we have ever been. I'm very easy to get along with, i've been told that i'm humorous a few times. I never really get mad at anything, i'm always pretty relaxed. Well that about sums it up. Farewell , D.A.D.
